Product Design Studio in Lugano, Switzerland.
Creating refined and conscious spaces where nature, sustainability, wellbeing and Eco Luxury come together.
Born on the shores of Lake Maggiore to German parents, Elisa Berger developed an early sensitivity to architecture, materials, and the relationship between people, spaces, and nature.
After graduating in Interior Architecture & Product Design from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, she spent many years gaining professional experience with leading architecture and interior design studios, working across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects while developing an increasingly distinctive design vision.
In 2025, she officially founded Elisa Berger Design Studio in Lugano, Switzerland, establishing an independent practice dedicated to interior architecture, interior design, and product design.
Today, the studio is evolving towards a more conscious design approach rooted in the principles of Biophilic Design, Sustainability, Wellbeing, and Eco Luxury — bringing together aesthetics, nature, comfort, and environmental responsibility to create spaces that genuinely enhance quality of life.
Elisa’s design philosophy is based on the belief that architecture and interiors should go beyond visual beauty. They should contribute to the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of the people who experience them.
Natural materials, light, greenery, organic textures, balanced proportions, indoor air quality, sensory comfort, and a meaningful connection with nature are therefore central to her work. Each space is conceived as a harmonious ecosystem in which design, function, and nature come together to create balance, comfort, and wellbeing.
The concept of Eco Luxury plays a fundamental role in this vision: a contemporary idea of luxury defined not by excess, but by quality, longevity, conscious material choices, attention to detail, and the creation of authentic, refined spaces that are deeply enjoyable to live in.
A continuous interest in innovation and sustainability has also led Elisa into the field of product design. From this vision came MAS AMOR, an innovative modular furniture collection designed and developed in Switzerland. Manufactured through advanced additive manufacturing technologies using a plant-based biopolymer derived from corn, MAS AMOR reflects her commitment to combining design, innovation, modularity, and environmental responsibility.
Alongside her design practice, Elisa continues to explore new models for the future of living, with a particular focus on biophilic architecture, sustainable materials, adaptable and self-sufficient living systems, and new strategies dedicated to wellbeing.
Her goal is to develop an increasingly human-centred and environmentally conscious approach to design, applicable not only to private residences, but also to hospitality, workplaces, commercial spaces, and public environments.
Elisa Berger Design Studio therefore seeks to move beyond the traditional concept of interior design, transforming spaces into places that foster connection, balance, wellbeing, and a better quality of life.
